Congratulations to Cycle Premier-Metaltek on their Bronze medal at the National Track Championships 2011
MSTINA Cyclewear, proud sponsor of Cycle Premier-Metaltek Pro Cycling Team, would like to congratulate the team on their bronze medal at the National Track Championships at the Manchester Velodrome on October 1st 2011.

After watching Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton MBE win their own events to become National Champions for 2011, the evening session on the track finished in style with the exciting Team Pursuit medals finals. Whilst the Hargroves and SIS teams battled it out for Gold and Silver, the Cycle Premier - Metaltek team of Simon Wilson, Tony Gibb, Matt Rowe and Dale Appleby competed against GWR for the Bronze Medal.

Cycle Premier - Metaltek had a flying start gaining ground within the first three laps, as GWR lost their 4th man. This spurred on the remaining three GWR riders to close the gap and go into the lead. However, Cycle Premier-Metaltek kept their composure and showed complete discipline by stepping up their work rate and injected pace in the closing laps to win the medal by four seconds, with another personal best time of 4:22.789.

MSTINA Cyclewear and Cyclepremier.com-Metaltek together for 2011
MSTINA is proud to continue its sponsorship of Cycle Premier.com-Metaltek 2011 and is responsible for supplying the team kit.

This year, the team includes an expanded line up as five riders join the six confirmed from last year. Ross Creber (current Scottish Cyclo-Cross and former road champion), Tom Barras, Matt Rowe, Dale Appleby (Welsh Road champion) and Stephen Gallagher join Simon Wilson, Ashley Finn, Tony Gibb, Robert Smail and Richard Hepworth.

Director Rod Freeman says, "2011 is set to be an important season for everyone involved with the team. We only had seven fit riders for most of 2010 but this year we are far stronger in numbers and speed. We plan to have greater presence in Premier Calendar events this year, in addition to criteriums like Tour Series and the Elite Series".

Gianluca Cappello of MSTINA UK Distributor Prosport Distribution commented, "We are really proud to be involved with the team for the second year running. MSTINA, reknown for its high quality cyclewear has improved the kit even further following the riders feedback. It has been great fun incorporating design specifically for Dale Appleby and Ross Creber who are the Welsh Road Champion and current Scottish Cyclo-Cross champion respectively. We would like to wish the team good luck for the forth coming season".
